Baltos Lankos

Established in 1992 as an editorial office of a magazine Baltos lankos, the publishing house was later changed—increasing staff and the number of publications. Its publishing priorities, however, have not changed: a preference is given to humanities and social sciences, stressing a high literary and artistic quality of the publications.

It is Mr. Saulius Žukas, a director and owner of the publishing house, PhD in Humanities and author of many articles and books, who supports loyalty to these values and has stood at the wheel of the publishing house from its very beginning.

Baltos lankos publishes fiction by Lithuanian and foreign authors, academic books on humanities, course books for secondary schools, cognitive cultural guides around Lithuania, illustrated children books, etc.
