Encouraging girls of all ages to follow their dreams, this illustrated story follows the memory of an old woman as she reveals her past dreams, uncovering the commonality of young girls' thoughts and blurring the line between fantasy and reality. She is seen painting in Paris, visiting the Seven Wonders of the World while floating through the air in a hot-air balloon, living in a castle surrounded by a moat, and being the archaeologist to uncover the tomb of the five kings. The illustrations are immersive, detailed, full of whimsy and humor, and contain a little grey mouse hidden in every picture. This new edition includes a hidden message behind the text that is carried throughout the story.
