The objective of this book is to eliminate the gaps in the profession of the sexologist from a scientific and existential-humanist perspective. The author provides humorous and unhesitating information about his professional experience. The reader will find real cases that explain psychotherapy, manifestations of sexual diversity, sexual health, on teaching, and "sexual revolutions" throughout history.

Author Biography

David Barrios Martínez es médico cirujano por la Facultad de Medicina de la Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM), especialista en Docencia por el Centro de Investigaciones y Servicios Educativos de la misma institución, Educador de la Sexualidad por la Sociedad Mexicana de Sexología Humanista Integral (Someshi), psicoterapeuta Gestalt y de Enfoque Centrado en la Persona por el Instituto Humanista de Psicoterapia Gestalt y maestro en Ciencias Sexológicas por la Universidad Abierta de México.



David Barrios Martínez is a surgeon from the Faculty of Medicine of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), a specialist in Teaching from the Center for Research and Educational Services of the same institution, Educator of Sexuality by the Mexican Society of Integral Humanist Sexology (Someshi), Gestalt psychotherapist and Person Centered Approach from the Humanist Institute of Gestalt Psychotherapy and teacher in Sexological Sciences from the Open University of Mexico.
