Overview

Monstress is an epic story set in an alternate world of art deco beauty and steampunk terror. It stars Maika Halfwolf, a teenager who has survived the cataclysmic war between humans and their sworn enemies, the Arcanics. In the face of oppression and danger, Maika becomes both a hunter and prisoner, searching for answers about her mysterious past and evading those who want to use her. She does it all with a monster inside her that's beginning to wake up.

Author Biography

Marjorie M. Liu is an American author and cartoonist whose books have appeared on the New York Times Best Seller list. Her paranormal romance and urban fantasy books include the Hunter Kiss and Tiger Eye sagas.
