Author Biography

Before launching a successful writing career, Paula Harrison was a Primary school teacher. Her years of teaching taught her what children like in stories and how they respond to humor and suspense. She went on to put her experience to good use, writing many successful stories for young readers.

Jenny Løvlie is a Norwegian illustrator, designer, creative, foodie and bird enthusiast. She is fascinated by the strong bond between humans and animals and loves using bold colors and shapes in her work. Her picture book The Girls won the Waterstones Children's Book Prize Illustrated Book of the Year 2019.
