"[A] delightfully careening narrative. . . . Handlettered type that swirls across the page, along with the energetic, spontaneous-looking drawings add to the whimsy of the book. Feisty, inventive Henrietta is sure to attract many fans." —Publishers Weekly starred review of Henrietta There's No One Better
"In a rambling narrative featuring creative wordplay and colorful fonts, the girl describes her family, pets, friends, and imaginative journeys. . . . While her musings are a bit silly at times, they are effervescent and inventive, too. . . . This girl will be embraced by many young readers, particularly those who've enjoyed Lauren Childs Clarice Bean books." —School Library Journal on Henrietta There's No One Better
"The design of these books is superb: from the colorful endpapers to the two-page spreads and use of pattern, they are friendly and engaging." —School Library Journal on Henrietta and the Perfect Night
"Murray carries off the story with airy lightness, aided mightily by illustrations that range from a small pickle (part of a pixie trap Henrietta devises) to full-blown fairy festivities. Unlike many current series, the narrator-protagonist is slightly but noticeably older and wiser in the third book than she was in the first book." —Booklist on Henrietta Gets a LetterAuthor Biography
