CHICAGO, IL—Independent Publishers Group is thrilled to announce the print and digital book distribution of six new publishers in IPG Midpoint and IPG Small Press, effective this year.

Fidelis Publishing began distributing its digital and print products through IPG on September 1, 2020. Fidelis Publishing combines the experience of New York Times bestselling author Oliver L. North and long-term publisher Gary Terashita to form a top producer of Christian and conservative books.

"Partnering with IPG assures the highest possible quality sales and distribution for our publishing efforts,” said North, CEO, and Terashita, COO, of Fidelis Publishing. “They guarantee our authors will get the fulfillment and exposure they deserve.”

Also joining IPG’s print and digital book distribution, Context Productions and taotime verlag both began on August 1, 2020. Context Productions creates and publishes content for kids and is known for their Our Discovering Heroes® series of books which increases awareness to the events surrounding 9/11 and everyday heroes. Since 2011, taotime has been publishing German translations of books that promote a mindful attitude to life, focusing on new translations of ancient Chinese texts with original modern calligraphy, such as Qingjing-Jing and DaoDeJing (Tao te Ching), children's books by the well-known American author, Don Freeman (author of Corduroy), and other books for children and adults associated with contemporary thoughts and ideas on mindful living.

In IPG Small Press, Kirkton, Night Heron Media and BiblioKid all started in 2020. Kirkton is the publisher of Breaking the Vicious Cycle and owner of the Specific Carbohydrate Diet ™ (SCD) and began distribution on August 17, 2020. Night Heron Media began distribution on June 24, 2020, and provides creative outlets for writers, artists and historians to touch other lives and to see their work sent out into the world. BiblioKid, which began on May 15, 2020, produces books that inspire and entertain children and their families, and is deeply rooted in supporting American enterprise, printing all books in the United States.

“The Midpoint and Small Press Divisions of IPG are thrilled to welcome these exciting publishers into our family of exceptional independent publishing,” said Alex Kampmann, VP and General Manager of IPG Midpoint, Small Press, and Art. “It is as important as ever we continue to support the growth and development of small and mid-size publishers through personal attention and our sales, marketing and distribution expertise.”

About Independent Publishers Group (IPG):
Founded in 1971, IPG was the first organization specifically created for the purpose of marketing titles from independent presses to the book trade. Today, IPG’s wide reach into the book market includes distribution of both print and e-books from a wide array of publishers, digital printing and traditional publishing. With consistent growth year over year, IPG’s success has come from supporting and encouraging the growth of its publishing partners in the United States and worldwide. IPG was acquired by Chicago Review Press in 1987, and this acquisition formed the parent company Chicago Review Press, Inc., which now owns Chicago-based indie publishers Chicago Review Press and Triumph Books.
