Overview

A consideration of the culture of sustainability and how it can be applied on a macro scale, this book identifies consumerism and materialism as keys to unsustainability and explains why a change of mentality and values is essential for the health of society. Jordi Pigem demonstrates how the values that contribute to social and ecological responsibility are the same ones that can lead to self-realization and fulfillment on a personal level, and how instituting these values on a global, personal, and social level can help both individuals and the global community forge a path in an ever-changing world.
