Overview

An invitation to read the peculiar anthropology developed by Lluís Duch, this book compiles the anthropologist and monk’s personal philosophy as set forth throughout his more than 40 books and hundreds of scientific articles. Over the past three decades, Duch’s work has been absorbed within the scope of the history of European culture, and this collection of texts aspires to be, on the occasion of his 75th birthday, a tribute to the thinker. Included are a general introduction to Duch’s way of thinking, contributions centered on important parts of his work, two texts from Duch himself related to the issue of myth, a brief biography, and a full bibliography of his publications.
