Overview
This work investigates the terrorist actions carried out during the 1970s and 1980s, culminating in the sabotage of a commercial plane off the coast of Barbados, which resulted in the death of the whole crew and passengers, including 16 members of Cuba's young fencing team, 6 Guyanese students who had earned scholarships to study medicine in the Greater Antilles, and a 9-year old girl.Author Biography
José Luis Méndez Méndez holds a PhD in legal sciences and a Masters in political science from the University of Havana. He is a professor, researcher, diplomat, and writer. Among his most recent works are: Mensajeros de la muerte: Centroamérica la punta visible del iceberg, Los años del terror, 1974-1976, and Bajo las alas del Cóndor. He is a member of the Jurist Union in Cuba and the Cuban Society of Philosophical Investigations and Political Sciences.
