Las aventuras de Alicia en el país de las maravillas is a fantasy novel written by British mathematician, logician, photographer, and writer Charles Lutwidge Dodgson, under the pseudonym Lewis Carroll, published in 1865. The story tells how a girl named Alice falls down a hole and finds herself in a strange world populated by peculiar humans and anthropomorphic creatures. The book plays with logic, giving the novel great popularity with both children and adults. It is considered one of the best novels of the nonsense genre.

Lewis Caroll is the pseudonym of Charles Lutwidge Dogson, a logician, mathematician, photographer, and writer. His best known works are Alicia en el país de las maravillas and its sequel, Alicia a través del espejo.
