Author Biography
Lewis Carroll (1832–1898) was the pen name for Charles Lutwidge Dodgson. A mathematics lecturer at Oxford, Dodgson enjoyed mathematical puzzles and jokes, several of which are included in his best-known works, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass. Tony Ross has illustrated over 800 books, including Dr Xargle's Book of Earth Tiggers, which was shortlisted for the Kate Greenaway Medal, Is It Because?, and Super Dooper, Jezebel.
