A Note from an Angel

Overview

Derek Lendosky was three days away from his tenth birthday when he was called home to heaven after an accident. In the wake of his loss on earth, his family has tried to pass on his legacy and find ways to help other people who face the loss of loved ones. This book is what his family believes is Derek’s message for how to continue living life after such a tragic loss. The hope is to help people who have had to face loss. Even if we don’t know why bad things happen, God has a plan and we should turn to Him and His love to help us in every situation.

Author Biography

After an impromptu encounter on an airplane in 2000, Steve and Brandee Lendosky married and moved to Steve's hometown in Wisconsin in 2001 where they still live, work, and do community volunteering. Their son Derek was born in 2003, joined by brother Lucas in 2004, and sister Peyton in 2007. Sage, the family mini-schnauzer was adopted into the family in 2012. The Lendosky family is eternally grateful to their extended family and their friends both near and far for the outpouring of support in the past, present and into the future.
