Distribution Programs

IPG operates six different distribution programs to meet the particular needs of various kinds of publishers and market segments. Each program accurately positions groups of publishers and their titles for particular audiences. Our goal is to sell each title to its full potential and to keep our publishers healthy and successful.

Sales Channels

IPG’s distinct distribution programs are not restricted to particular sales channels. On the contrary: IPG’s many means of reaching the full book market are used whenever they are relevant for titles in any of our distribution programs.

For instance, our program to encourage professors to use our titles for college courses is crucial for titles sold through the River North Editions program; but titles from every distribution program are also sold through this channel if there is a reasonable chance of success.
