Upon entering Cape Town's Sababa restaurant, you step onto a blank canvas with a riot of color right at its center. This is the buffet, bright with salads, some stained pink with roast beetroot juice, others seasoned with freshly squeezed lemon or strewn with generous quantities of fresh herbs. Author Biography

Tal Smith and Nirit Saban are sisters and the co-owners of the restaurant Sababa. Tal opened her first outlet, Sea Point, in St. John's Piazza while Nirit manages Sababa's City Bowl catering branch. Russell Smith is a professional photographer who has shot on location internationally as well as working in the studio. They all live in Cape Town, South Africa.
