This collection of work from a dozen performance poets from the west coast of Australia, these poems exist in the mediated tension between the page and their other, electric life when spoken aloud. With accompanying audio performances available to download, and an introduction by acclaimed Australian writer Rebecca Giggs, this collection showcases the energy and vibrancy of spoken word performance.

Author Biography

Scott-Patrick Mitchell is a writer whose poetry and fiction have been published in numerous anthologies. He has been a guest of the National Young Writers Festival and the Emerging Writers Festival, and was winner of the 2010 Perth Poetry Slam. His poetry appears in New Poets and Out of the Box: Contemporary Australian Gay and Lesbian Poets. Rebecca Giggs is a poet and writer.
