Author Biography

Opal Palmer Adisa is a professor of creative writing and literature at the California College of the Arts, and her work has appeared in more than 200 journals, anthologies, and other publications, including Essence Magazine. She is the author of It Begins With Tears. She lives in Oakland, California.
