Overview

Alicia, mother and wife, lives a privileged life, but she can't shake the feeling that someone is out to kill her. Whether paranoid or in real danger, she decides to run away from her supposed killers. Along with a road traveler named Richard, she runs away without a thought to wherever her journey may take her. Taking solace in the road and in the company of a stranger, the two of them get to know each other more than they could have imagined. Alicia, madre y esposa, vive una vida privilegiada pero no puede evitar sentir una fuerte sensación de que alguien pretende acabar con su vida. No está segura si es paranoia o si de verdad existe algún peligro. Alicia se decide por fin a tomar las riendas de su vida, abandonar el fingimiento y huir de sus aparentemente imaginarios perseguidores. Junto con un viajante llamado Ricardo, Alicia emprende una huida sin destino. El coche transita por carreteras secundarias y paisajes desolados y se convierte en casa y refugio donde los dos personajes hablan de sí mismos y de sus vivencias como sólo dos extraños pueden hacerlo. En este fantasmal entorno, en el que el único calor posible es el que emana de sus propias emociones, estos dos personajes se conocen mejor de lo que hubieran pensado posible.
