Part of a series designed to prepare applicants who are seeking Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) certifications for the full range of material, these guides offer current test questions, answers, detailed explanations, illustrations, and oral and practical study outlines to the FAA's Knowledge Exams for the Airframe, Powerplant, and General tests. The series is designed in a "fast-track" format for increased comprehension and retention of the studied materials. These guides also list and identify all the FAA Learning Statement Codes (LSC) that the FAA uses on their Knowledge Test Reports, which are useful for test-takers to find out what their weak areas were if they missed any questions on their FAA Exams.

Author Biography

Dale Crane is an airframe and powerplant mechanic, a designated mechanic-examiner, a commercial pilot, and a flight instructor. He has been involved in aviation for more than 50 years and is the recipient of the FAA’s Charles Taylor Master Mechanic Award. He lives in Basin, Wyoming. Terry Michmerhuizen is the owner of Mitch’s Aero Services LLC and Brenco IA Training. He is an A&P, IA, ASC, and a Designated Airworthiness Representative (DAR) with 10 years of experience teaching aviation maintenance. He lives in Gobles, Michigan.
