Colin Francome is Emeritus Professor in the sociology of health at Middlesex University. Marcel Vekemans is senior medical advisor (abortion) at the International Planned Parenthood Federation. He worked as an obstetrician and gynecologist for 28 years and was a professor in human reproduction at the Université Libre de Bruxelles and their attached nurses’ school.
