This book is focused on understanding the currently functional status of library websites of Research and Technical Institutions of India. A maximum of 100 web pages of a library website were tested by Sitebeam Web Analyzer. Webometric tools and techniques were deployed during the course of the investigation. These included Web Indicators, Sitebeam Web Analyzer Test Scores and Web Impact Factors. The list of 105 Library Web Indicators has been divided into 5 different blocks: resource, service, links, information and design, as well as graphics. Each library website was tested on 26 individual test scores ranging from 0 to 10. The book is a milestone in this field giving explicit directions for standardization of institutional library websites and bringing them up to international levels of function and operation.

Shalini Wasan, PhD works as a Senior Librarian, Chandigarh College of Engg. & Tech. Dr. Shalini has about 35 research papers to her credit which are published in research journals, conference proceedings and as book chapters with several of them being honoured with Best Paper Awards.
