Featuring a riot of monsters, murderesses and madness from a mixture of lesser-known writers and some surprises such as Lucy M. Montgomery, author of Anne of Green Gables, this new selection also includes a 1980s story by Tanith Lee, one of the great proponents of Weird Tales magazine’s revival era, and a recently discovered tale by the fantasy writer Evangeline Walton.
Author Biography
Mike Ashley is an author, Edgar award-winning editor and expert on genre fiction. Since 2018, he has drawn on his experience researching rare periodicals and lost anthologies to create thrilling volumes of rediscovered strange tales for the Tales of the Weird series.
