Overview

Había una vez tres amigos —Pipo, Pol y Toni— que siempre estaban pensando en nuevos juegos para divertirse. En realidad, lo que les hacía más felices era estar juntos. Pero un día a Pipo no le apeteció comer sandía como a los otros dos. Se fue por su cuenta y se encontró con un gusano muy raro que no quería salir de su agujero por las buenas. Después de luchar y ganar a su adversario, Pipo descubrió algo que nunca habría imaginado…

Once upon a time there were three friends - Pipo, Pol and Toni - who were always thinking of new games to have fun. Actually, what made them happiest was being together. But one day Pipo didn't feel like eating watermelon like the other two. He went off on his own and encountered a very strange worm who didn't want to get out of his hole by hook or by crook. After fighting and beating his adversary, Pipo discovered something he would have never imagined...

Author Biography

Katarína Macurová es una autora e ilustradora que reside en Bratislava, donde se graduó en la Academia de Bellas Artes y Diseño. Como viajera notoria, busca inspiración en países extranjeros, especialmente en México, donde vivió durante casi un año. Su último viaje la llevó a una ciudad de El Paso en Texas, donde conoció el arte mural mexicano-estadounidense.

Katarína Macurová is an author and illustrator that lives in Bratislava, where she graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts and Design. An experienced traveler, she finds inspiration in foreign countries, especially in Mexico, where she lived for almost a year. Her last trip was to the city of El Paso in Texas, where she discovered the art of Mexican American muralists.
