Overview

The Legend of the Peacock Princess is a story from Xishuangbanna, an area in Yunnan Province in southwest China. It is the retelling of a beautiful love story of a magical peacock and how the peacock and the peacock dance, symbolizing peace and happiness, are special in the hearts of the Dai people.
