Author Biography

Mark McMorris is a professor of English at Georgetown University. He was the Director of the Lannan Center for Poetics and Social Practice at Georgetown and before that of Lannan Literary Programs, He is the author of numerous poetry collections including The Café at Light, and his critical writings and fiction has appeared widely. McMorris is the recipient of numerous honors and awards, including a Gertrude Stein Award for Innovative Poetry.
