CHICAGO, IL – Independent Publishers Group (IPG) is pleased to announce that it has partnered with international bestselling author Sylvia Day on the US distribution of her latest novel, So Close. Sylvia Day’s award-winning novels have sold more than 20 million copies in over 40 countries worldwide.

In September 2022, IPG signed an exclusive US physical book sales & distribution agreement with Day’s publishing company, Sylvia Day LLC, on four front list titles, including So Close, released March 28, 2023.

“IPG is thrilled to have the opportunity to represent such an accomplished bestselling author as Sylvia Day,” said Alex Kampmann, Vice President of Business Development at IPG. “We look forward to supporting Sylvia and her works through our dynamic sales, marketing and distribution solutions.”

A contemporary gothic set in present-day New York City, So Close follows the story of Kane Black, a grieving widower who is left reeling from the loss of his wife, Lily, when he sees a woman who bears a striking resemblance to her on the streets of Manhattan and sweeps her away. The story unfolds from the perspective of Kane’s jealous mother, Aliyah, his vengeful sister-in-law, Amy, and his wife. It deals with the ramifications of a sudden return, the trauma each has endured and the secrets that connect them.

So Close is available at bookstores and retailers nationwide. Too Far, the second title in Day’s Blacklist duology, will release in October 2023.
