Eric Heidemann is the owner and managing partner of Fujii Associates, IPG’s commission rep group for the Midwest region. He specializes in selling to Education wholesale accounts, but also sells to wide swath of retail accounts in Eastern Iowa, Missouri, NE Arkansas, and key accounts in Chicago and Central Illinois. He is an expert on making an impact when presenting new books.

Richard T. Williams is the Director of Publisher Development with IPG. He has been with IPG since 2005 and has been the director of the Small Press United program since 2009, where he has worked with hundreds of clients to help with the scheduling, marketing, and sales optimization of their titles. Prior to IPG, Richard was the operations manager for an independent publisher for 8 years, where he became familiar with the unique day-to-day challenges of running an indie publishing business.

 



Cynthia Sherry

Cynthia Sherry, publisher of Chicago Review Press, has been with the company since 1989. She has held financial management as well as executive editorial positions at both Independent Publishers Group and Chicago Review Press. As publisher she acquires books and oversees the editorial and book production of about 65 titles a year under five total imprints, including Lawrence Hill Books, Ball Publishing, Zephyr Press, and Academy Chicago, along with managing an editorial, production, and publicity staff of 14.


Larry Bennett

As Executive Director of Business Development, Larry Bennett manages the North American market for French technology company Nord Compo, the leader in providing prepress composition and digital services for book publishers in the French-speaking world.

Lara Alexander is the National Accounts Manager at IPG and oversees the Amazon accounts, along with Indigo and Hastings. She has worked in the book industry since 2008. Before joining IPG in 2012, she worked for Sourcebooks, an independent publisher, and Children’s Plus Inc, a library wholesaler.

 


Lauren Klouda

Lauren Klouda has been a part of independent publishing at IPG since 2010. Her background in social media and online marketing services has led to the development of IPG’s robust marketing and advertising programs and significant increases in web traffic and online sales. She manages the Marketing team at IPG.

 

 



Patrick Brown

She is the author of several books, including Cuban Kitchen and Ciudadania Americana Hecho Facil and is also the Co-founder and active member of Miami Book Fair International. She is a consultant to Books&Books, a local, independent bookstore with four locations and four affiliate stores, as well as a partner in the Books&Books airport location.

Greg is a 20+ year veteran of the publishing industry, and prior to coming to Nielsen, he was the VP of Sales Operations & Supply Chain at the Perseus Books Group, working with hundreds of distribution clients. He has also worked at Simon & Schuster as the Director of Online Sales and then Director of Sales Operations. Greg started his career at HarperCollins selling to national accounts.

 



Robin Bradford

She has worked with authors to help get their titles into these collections, worked with librarians to push for equal treatment of genre fiction, and worked with readers so that they can find their favorite authors on their library’s shelves.

Cevin Bryerman is the publisher and executive vice president of Publishers Weekly. He has been in the publishing business for more than 25 years, working at the helm of both trade and consumer magazines in strategic planning and partnerships, including Library Journal, School Library Journal, and others. Cevin serves on industry committees, most notably the Independent Book Publishers Association (IBPA), and is a member of the board of directors of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, active in the annual Books for a Better Life fundraising event.
