Scott & Nix, Inc. is an independent publishing and packaging company founded in 2002 by George Scott and Charles Nix. Recent book titles include The Curious Death of Peter Artedi by Theodore W. Pietsch and Brain Cuttings by Carl Zimmer. S&N publishes a line of natural history posters, prints, and cards by artists David Allen Sibley, Joseph Tomelleri, Flick Ford, and Ernest G. Schwiebert, Jr. As packagers, S&N works with Alfred A. Knopf, Yale University Press, Workman, Sterling, Harper Collins, and others.
