Popular Kinetics Press was founded as an artist's press in 1991. Our goal is to reveal the wonder of the book form through artist's editions and presentations, and to teach functional design, creative writing, and problem-solving through the making of books and pop-ups. Our interactive how-to books on paper engineering, The Pocket Paper Engineer workbooks, are designed for a broad audience of artists, educators, kids, graphics designers, and crafters.
