Marv is an ordinary boy who loves spending time with Grandpa and reading comics with his best friend Joe. But everything changes when he discovers a mysterious superhero suit hidden in the attic . . .To his amazement, Marv learns that he is next in a long line of superheroes. Now the time has come to meet his destiny!

In Marv book 6, Marv and the Humongous Hamster, Marvin gets to take Nibbles the classroom hamster home for the school holidays! He can’t wait to prove to Grandad just how responsible he can be, maybe he’ll even be allowed to get a pet of his own.

But pet care plans go awry when supervillain Dr Boom turns Nibbles into a humongous hamster! It’s time for Marvin to put on his superhero suit and become MARV! Only then can he stop Dr Boom and shrink Nibbles back down to size.

Author Biography

Alex Falase-Koya has been writing children's fiction since he was a teenager and was a winner of Spread the Word's 2019 London Writers Awards for YA and Children's. Marv is his debut series and he is the co-author of The Breakfast Club Adventures, the first fiction book by England footballer Marcus Rashford.

Paula Bowles studied Illustration at Falmouth College of Art and is a children’s book illustrator working for Nosy Crow, Simon and Schuster, and Oxford Children’s.
