Overview

Flush es un cocker spaniel de pura raza poseedor de una extremada sensibilidad a las emociones humanas. Llega a la vida de Elizabeth Barrett, la poetisa más admirada de Inglaterra, en uno de sus momentos más difíciles. Animal y humana establecerán casi de inmediato un vínculo insólito. Flush acompañará a Elizabeth en sus días más oscuros, será afligido testigo de su romance con el poeta Robert Browning y la seguirá en su huida a Italia en pos de la felicidad que le hará recobrar la salud. Flush es una historia original, tierna y llena de humor en la que Woolf vuelve a temas recurrentes como la vida en el Londres victoriano o la diferencia de clases, esta vez a través de la inocente mirada de un perro, lo que la convierte en una de las novelas más encantadoras de la literatura contemporánea.

Animal and human will almost immediately establish an unusual bond. Flush will accompany Elizabeth in her darkest days, will be grieved by her romance with the poet Robert Browning and will follow her on her flight to Italy in search of happiness that will make her regain her health. Flush is an original, tender and humorous story in which Woolf returns to recurring themes such as life in Victorian London or class differences, this time through the innocent gaze of a dog, which makes it one of the most charming novels in contemporary literature.

Author Biography

Gala Pont Paradís (1992) nació en Granollers. Después de graduarse en Bellas Artes por la Universidad de Barcelona, estudió un posgrado de Diseño en la EINA y un máster de profesorado en la UB. En la actualidad, vive y trabaja en Barcelona como ilustradora freelance.

Más conocida como Virginia Woolf, fue una escritora británica, autora de novelas, cuentos, obras teatrales y demás obras literarias; considerada una de las más destacadas figuras del vanguardista modernismo anglosajón del siglo XX y del feminismo internacional.

Gala Pont Paradís (1992) was born in Granollers. After graduating in Fine Arts from the University of Barcelona, she studied a postgraduate degree in Design at EINA and a master's degree in teaching at the UB. Currently, she lives and works in Barcelona as a freelance illustrator.

Adeline Virginia Woolf, most well known as Virginia Woolf, was a British writer and author of novels, short stories, plays and other literary works; she is considered one of the most outstanding figures of the avant-garde Anglo-Saxon modernism of the 20th century and international feminism.
