Overview

In the early twentieth century, a young upper-class German woman with a comfortable life and an arranged marriage checks into a peculiar psychiatric clinic in order to cure her constant money problems. Once there, she will share her days and her escapades with an extravagant array of psychiatric patients who are as entertaining as they are irritating. Franziska von Reventlow was a German writer, artist and translator, who became famous as the "Bohemian Countess" of Schwabing in the years leading up to World War I.
