Author Biography

Roberto J. Payró was a journalist, a novelist, and a screenwriter. He wrote for La Nación in Buenos Aires and was a correspondent during World War I. He is the author of several novels, including El capitán Vergara, El casamiento de Laucha, El falso Inca, and El mar dulce.
