Overview

Do people choose Christ? Or does Christ choose them? If you convert to Christianity, is that your decision or God’s?

People make choices all the time. When people talk about choosing Christ or choosing to become a Christian, it’s incredibly comforting to know that the choosing isn’t done by them—it’s being done by God!

Does that sound backward to you?

Conversion is all about helping you understand that it is God who makes you a Christian. He’s the one who does the work of bringing you to faith in his saving name! In this book, pastor and author John M. Brenner gives you the comforting details of God’s answer to the question of salvation and how Christians believe in Jesus.

The People’s Bible Teachings is a series of books on all the main teachings of the Bible. Following the pattern set by The People’s Bible series, these books are written for all Christians in an easy-to-read manner. The authors of The People’s Bible are all pastors and professors who have had years of experience teaching others about the Bible.
