Comicsburgh

Comicsburgh is a Pittsburgh-based publishing company founded by Marvin Wynn, Grant Lankard, D.P. Brown, and Manny Theiner, who collaborate to promote creator-owned comics.

Founded in 2021 through a video series highlighting Pittsburgh comic creators and comic shops, Comicsburgh has grown into a unified publishing movement that shares resources for conventions, travel, promotion, and educational outreach while bringing independent comics to readers across North America.

Through nationwide distribution, convention appearances, live-action productions, and educational panels like “From Script to Store,” Comicsburgh continues to champion independent publishing and prove that Pittsburgh is a thriving hub for comic book storytelling and creative talent.
