Overview
Attie Lime's debut collection brings a bright, fresh perspective to children's poetry. Laughter and thinking come together in her verses. Humorous, easily read, they open new directions for young minds. She is alive to the humor and pleasures of everyday situations, like a push/pull door, or the wonderfulness of wearing wellies. Food crops up quite often and usually in unexpected ways–a pancake becomes a cancake, beans become magic. Variety of themes is matched by variety of style, from straight poems to shape poems. A great collection both for sharing and for solo reading.Author Biography
