Overview

In April of 1942, the war had taken a turn for the worst, and it seemed unlikely that Nazi Germany would rise victorious. In an office of Mauthausen concentration camp, five men of the Nazi-fascist army met: a Croatian officer, a Spaniard, an Italian officer, a Canadian, and an SS official, with a sixth man as a prisoner—a Jewish banker. Faced with the possibility of an adverse ending to the war, they decided to form a secret society with the goal of seizing the property and assets of the rich inmates. Sixty years later, the protagonist of the novel, an Argentinean writer, receives a box from his father who had recently passed away. In it, he finds this novel of the truth. From this moment, the reader becomes engulfed in the history of these dark times as they unveil a hidden history.

Javier Chiabrando is a writer and a musician from Argentina. He is the author of Todavía no cumplí cincuenta y ya estoy muerto.
