When a child learns how to ask why, they never seem to stop asking. This question is like a pair of tweezers able to grasp unknown objects, a key able to unlock secret doors, and a magnifying glass allowing you to see what appears to be hidden. At the end of the day, we all know "why?" is simply an abbreviation for "open sesame." When we say these words, we never know what we are going to discover. This question reminds us that we do not know everything, and this memorable book urges kids to think past the question.

Author Biography

Victoria Pérez Escrivá is an author, an illustrator, and the coordinator of and a teacher at the Escuela Infantil de Música de Maese Pedro, a youth musical center in Madrid. Javier Zabala is an award-winning Spanish artist who has illustrated more than 60 books for various publishers.
