Overview

A charmingly illustrated picture book which reveals the secrets of Titanosaur

There’s a new visitor at the Natural History Museum in London. Titanosaur has traveled across the Atlantic from its home in Patagonia, Argentina. Its incredible size feels almost unbelievable, its legs alone dwarfing the tallest of humans.

David Mackintosh’s illustrations bring the mystery of this giant dinosaur to life in an imaginative and amusing hide-and-seek story. And with awe-inspiring facts about this colossal creature, Titanosaur gives young readers a new appreciation of the scale and wonder of the natural world.

Author Biography

David Mackintosh has previously written and illustrated Dippy: The Nation’s Favourite Dinosaur for the Natural History Museum and this book is his second with a gigantic subject. He made many trips to the Museum for inspiration for this book – but never once saw a titanosaurus. The illustrations are made with oil pencil, ink, kraftpaper and watercolor.
