Author Biography

Philippos Mandilaras studied Contemporary Literature at Paris-Sorbonne University, Ethnology & Anthropology at the Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales, and Creative Writing in Aleph-Ecriture. He has published more than 80 books. In 2014 he received the National Award for Best YA Literature. He is actively involved in creative writing workshops for children and youth. Natalia Kapatsoulia studied French literature at the University of Athens and Illustration at the Ornerakis School of Applied Arts and followed seminars on children's books illustration in Italy. She has been working as a freelance children's books illustrator for many years now. She has been shortlisted for the Greek State Illustration Awards several times.
