Overview

Modern, technology-literate Alden children feature in this exciting new Boxcar mystery

Henry and Jessie's middle school robotics team is going to the regional competition! But it seems like someone doesn't want their team to compete. Can the Aldens use their sleuthing skills and what they've learned about robotics to find the culprit and save the day?

Author Biography

Gertrude Chandler Warner was born in 1890 in Putnam, Connecticut, where she taught school and wrote. She was inspired to write The Boxcar Children because she had often imagined how delightful it would be to live in a caboose or freight car. Encouraged by the book's success, she went on to write 18 more stories about the Alden children. In 2017, this beloved series celebrated its 75th Anniversary!
