Overview
Harley, a retired military service dog, is starting a new life with the Lacey family, but when he arrives, he discovers he has a new sibling; a tiny, bushy tailed, tri-coloured cat called Lucy. Will the local developers’ plans to tear down the Old Ashley Place marshlands to build condos on unite the two? Can they settle their differences in time to save the marshland . . . and can cats and dogs ever become true friends?
Author Biography
Maria Atlan, a former Military Officer, is a writer of poetry, short stories, and all things conservation related—from academic articles to children's literature. When she is not abroad working with conservation projects, Maria can be found at home in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Adriana Santos studied Fine Arts at university. After working for almost 12 years as a graphic design, she followed her childhood dream and her work is now focused on children's picture books and middle grade illustration.
