Author Biography

Ryu Jeong Hwa was born in Busan, South Korea. She majored in Korean literature at Seoul National University where she was the first woman elected as student body president. She currently works for the broadcasting company JTBC as a reporter and journalist. She believes it is worthwhile to write and deliver important news stories about society as a whole, but she likes to relax by reading fiction and watching talk shows, dramas and bands like K-pop stars BTS and Super Junior. She loves reading and writing and is particularly interested in the ways other people think.
