The Bumpedy Road

The Bumpedy Road is the first book in a trilogy written by Kiska the Cat as told to Pamela Bauer Mueller.  Kiska#&39;s three books encompass her adventures in three countries over nineteen years.  In The Bumpedy Road, Kiska tells about growing up in Mexico City, adopting Mistress Pamela#&39;s family and the adventures the family shares when they move to SanDiego.

Kiska leads and exciting life, from her early days in Mexico through her move to San Diego.  In this true adventure story, she and her brother, Canica, are pampered family pets.  They frolic with the children, tease rabbits, chase chickens and enjoy weekend trips to the country.  When the family moves to another country, the cats’ idyllic lives are jolted.  Canica disappears and Kiska sets out to find him.  At the same time, Kiska’s young owners need Kiska’s comforting care in their unfamiliar surroundings.  In The Bumpedy Road, Kiska searches for solutions to these and other challenges and escorts us on an exciting roller coaster ride of tales.

Pamela Bauer Mueller was raised in Oregon.  She has worked as a flight attendant, commercial model and actress, English and Spanish teacher and a U.S. Customs Inspector.  She now lives on Jekyll Island Georgia with her husband Michael and their cats Sukey Spice and Morgan Maurice.

Pamela#&39;s children and young adult books have awarded her the 2006/2008 and the 2009 Georgia Author of the Year titles, three Mom#&39;s Choice and Children’s Choice gold medals, the Independent Publisher Gold Book awards and other national awards with Writer#&39;s Digest and ForeWord magazines.  In her sixth historical novel, she introduces us to two female Civil War spies, Antonia Ford and Pauline Cushman, and their true stories of deep patriotism, deception and duplicity.
