Overview

For a half-century or more, black people have labored under the spell of what Jesse Lee Peterson calls the "alchemists." These are the race hustlers, media hacks, politicians, community organizers, and the like who promise to "fundamentally transform" America. The transformation they promise, however, produces only fool's gold—unearned benefits like welfare, food stamps, subsidized housing, payouts from lawsuits, and maybe one day even "reparations." Worse, to secure these counterfeit goods, recipients have to sacrifice something of infinite value: the sanctity of the two-parent family. It is a devil's bargain. In The Antidote: Healing America from The Poison of Hate, Blame, and Victimhood, Reverend Jesse Lee Peterson explains that this noxious, blaming mind-set has destroyed the black family, magnified racial tensions, pitted women against men, and quashed a sense of paternal responsibility—which in essence has killed the soul of the black community. The antidote to this poison has the power to save America and can be found inside this book. Now is the time to reject the culture of blame and find the antidote—it can save your life, your family, and your future.

Reviews

"Jesse Lee proves the adage: an honest man is always in trouble. He is a courageous warrior in the defense of the values that make America great." —Larry Elder, best-selling author, radio talk-show host & Executive Producer of "Uncle Tom"

"This guy is doing God's work." —Dennis Miller, talk show host, political commentator, actor and comedian

"Jesse Lee Peterson has rejected the poison of hate, blame, and victimhood in his own life, and has been encouraging men and their families to do the same for more than thirty years. The Antidote distills a quarter century of wisdom into one bold, powerful, and compelling book. I urge you to read it." –David Limbaugh, New York Times bestselling author and political commentator

"Jesse Lee Peterson is a courageous figure in today's race-baiting America. In The Antidote, he takes on racial myths and knocks them down and provides solid solutions in the process." –Ben Shapiro, New York Times bestselling author of Bullies

"Jesse Lee Peterson is one of the very few people I have ever met—and one of the very few writers I have ever read—who can truly be described as 'fearless.' Against the legion of race hustlers who have enslaved many of our fellow citizens in a pathology of dependence and rage, he speaks the liberating truth of forgiveness and love. The Antidote is a courageous book: typical of the man." –Andrew Klavan, award-winning author, screenwriter, and media commentator

"This man has touched more souls more deeply than almost any famous person in America today." –Dennis Prager, author, radio host, and Bond Advisory Board Member
