Overview

Four girlfriends with an eclectic mix of vibrant personalities plan a trip around the world after drunkenly taking ancestry tests during a wine-filled girl's night. It all seems harmless until a long-standing secret is uncovered where they experience enlightenment and revelations in equal measure, joys and traumas, and sometimes madness.

The dynamic foursome of Brooklyn, Iris, Lorraine, and Tammy make another dazzling appearance, as only this squad can do. Red Roses is another hot hit by Tasha Hutchison and this is why: Take four long-time, dear friends-sisters in spirit, really-and put them together on a trip of their dreams. The thing is, this is not a trip just for fun, but one in which each of these phenomenal women discover truths about themselves. This is no easy task, as – true to close friendships – these women are going to challenge each other, while they hold each other close in their big hearts. Brooklyn decides to learn about her mysterious past, as well as her closest sister friend, Iris. Similar in some ways and different in others, these two explore with the support of those close to them. Tammy and Lorraine, in the meantime, explore the fun of getting away from it all. There are clues, as well, but that mystery is left to the adventure of reading this jewel. Tasha Hutchison, author of the captivating women's fiction novel, Broken Petals which landed her a finalist in the Best Book Awards on the Page Turner Awards in 2023.
