Overview

The classic fairy tale Peter and the Wolf, also known as The Boy who Cried Wolf, is brought back to life in this book! The fantastic and fun illustrations in full color enrich the story, which has rhyming text. Peter is a shepherd who gets quite bored grazing his sheep. That's why one day it occurs to him to play a trick on his neighbors: he will pretend that a wolf is going to eat the sheep. The villagers, half asleep, get up as fast as they can to help him. However, once they arrive, they realize it was a lie. Pedro laughs, but then finds himself in trouble when a wolf really does appear… A story that teaches not to tell lies. This edition of Peter and the Wolf is thorough and has some wonderful pictures. The text rhymes, so it's more fun to read. Titles in the Rhymed Fairy Tales collection: - The Three Little Pigs. - Peter and the Wolf. - Goldilocks and the Three Bears. - The Wolf and the Seven Little Goats.
