Overview

The stories in this clever and vibrant series introduce four endearing town merchants whose funny names will delight children. Grocer Nestor Tellini's name resembles an Italian pasta, and Paca Lamar, the local fish vendor, has a name that sounds like the tasty squid calamari. In each of the books, Nestor, Paca, Pascual Midón, the dry cleaner, and Pepa Pas, the vegetable vendor, teach problem-solving skills as they encounter various mishaps and setbacks throughout their busy day and find suitable solutions for each.
