Author Biography

Sandhya Rao is an award-winning children’s author. Among her bestselling titles are Ekki Dokki, Picture Gandhi, Zakir and his Tabla, and My Friend, the Sea (winner Berliner Kinder and Jugendbuchpreis.)Nina Sabnani is an illustrator, animator and film-maker who collaborates with folk artists and experiments with different styles to create internationally acclaimed films and books. Among her best- known books for Tulika are Mukand and Riaz, My Gandhi Story, A for Ajrakh and Stitching Stories.
