Overview

Anne-France Dautheville quería ser libre y ver el mundo, y así lo hizo. En 1973, con 29 años, fue la primera mujer en dar la vuelta al mundo en moto. Salió desde París para recorrer Canadá y Alaska, visitar Japón y atravesar la India, Pakistán, Afganistán, Irán, Turquía y Europa del Este para regresar a su casa. Después recorrió Australia y América del Sur. Este libro recoge ese viaje, en el que encontró belleza y buena gente allá por donde pasó.



Anne-France Dautheville wanted to be free and see the world, and she did. In 1973, at the age of 29, she was the first woman to go around the world on a motorcycle. She left Paris to tour Canada and Alaska, visit Japan, and traverse India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iran, Turkey, and Eastern Europe to return to her home. She later toured Australia and South America. This book collects that journey of hers, in which she found beauty and good people wherever she passed.

Amy Novesky (EEUU) es editora y escritora. Amy empezó a editar libros en Chronicle Books (San Francisco). Veinticinco años y cientos de libros después, ha trabajado con autores, agentes, packagers, editores, librerías, empresas de juguetes y estudios cinematográficos, entre ellos Disney Press, National Geographic Kids, Pixar... En la actualidad, Amy es directora editorial de Cameron Kids (California). Entre su quincena de álbumes ilustrados publicados destacan: Cloth Lullaby (un éxito internacional); Me, Frida; Georgia in Hawaii; Mary Blair#&39;s Unique Flair; Imogen; Mister And Lady Day... Julie Morstad es conocida por sus ilustraciones surrealistas y fantasiosas, que han recibido múltiples premios. Ha ilustrado numerosos libros para niños, entre otros: The Life and Dance of Anna Pavlova, When Green Becomes Tomatoes, y This Is Sadie.
